Change log (Journal)

Find out who changed what in Caryon Lead, and through what: the app, the extension, an API key or an AI agent.

The Journal keeps a record of every write on a company, a contact, a deal or an action: who made it, when, and through what.

It is visible to the workspace owners and admins, in « Réglages › Journal » (Settings › Journal).

What you read there

One line per write:

  • a creation;
  • a changed field, with its old and new value;
  • an archive — with its reason when an API key or an AI agent gave one (« Motif : « Doublon » », Reason: "Duplicate") — or a restore.

The member concerned is named at the start of the line, then the channel:

  • nothing more when the action was done in Caryon Lead;
  • « via l'extension » (via the extension) for the Caryon Lead extension;
  • « via la clé API « Zapier » » (via the API key "Zapier") for a tool connected with an API key;
  • « via l'agent IA « Claude » » (via the AI agent "Claude") for an AI agent.

A key or agent revoked since is still named.

Filter and go back

Filter by item type, member and channel. The most recent writes come first; « Voir plus » (See more) goes further back. In a sub-space, contacts are read in the main workspace's Journal.

Archive rather than delete

Nothing the team wrote on a contact, a deal or an action is lost: « Archiver » (Archive) replaces "Delete", including for the API and AI agents.

  • An archived item leaves the lists, the agenda, the counters and the searches, but keeps its history.
  • The « Archivés » (Archived) filter (contacts, Pipeline, « Toutes les actions ») lists them, with "Archivé le … par …" (Archived on … by …).
  • « Restaurer » (Restore) puts it back where it was (a deal gets its stage back).
  • Only an erasure requested under GDPR deletes for good.
