Sub-spaces
One team, region or client per sub-space, all on the same contact file, each with its own follow-up.
A sub-space works on the same contact file as its main space and keeps its own follow-up. It is made for a team, a region or, if you are a sales agency, for each of your clients.
Sub-spaces come with the Business plan (trial included).
What is shared, what stays with each space
- Shared by the main space and all its sub-spaces: the contacts — one record per person, a correction counts everywhere —, the org chart and the facts in the header of the companies.
- Each space's own: its portfolio of companies (with their status, tags, owner and notes), its actions, its deals, its sequences, its Radar and the "key contact" star.
A space shows the contacts of the companies in its portfolio. Add a company the family already knows: its contacts are there at once.
On a contact's record, a discreet line tells you whether they are also followed elsewhere: "Aussi suivi dans Client A · dernier échange le 12 oct." Nothing of what was said there shows.
Deleting a contact
The record being shared, deleting it removes it from every space of the family. The confirmation names them.
Create a sub-space
Open "Sous-espaces"
In Caryon ID, pick the main space, then Sous-espaces in the menu.
Name it
"Nouveau sous-espace", a name ("Client Durand", "Équipe Nord"), then "Créer le sous-espace". The owner and the admins of the main space are in at once.
Open it to your team
"Accès" lists the members of the main space: a switch opens or closes the sub-space to each of them, and a pill picks their Lead role in this sub-space (Collaborateur for one client, Superviseur for another, for instance). For a new person, invite them to the main space first (Équipe), then open access here.
In Caryon Lead, the workspace menu lists each sub-space under its main space.
Seats and subscription
A sub-space has no subscription of its own: it works under the plan and the seats of the main space. One person takes one seat, however many sub-spaces they enter.
While sub-spaces exist, the main space stays on Business: move it to Starter once they are detached or deleted.
Attach an existing workspace
Already have a second workspace? In Sous-espaces, "Rattacher un espace existant" turns it into a sub-space (you must own it). Before you confirm, the screen tells you what changes:
- its members join the main space and take its seats (if seats are missing, add some first);
- its subscription stops the same day, with no refund: the period begun is due, nothing more is billed;
- its contacts join the shared file: a person on both sides (same LinkedIn profile, or same email at the same company) keeps a single record, with everyone's follow-up.
Two records with only the same name at the same company stay apart and are flagged on the contact's record: "Fusionner" keeps one, "Ce n'est pas la même personne" clears the flag.
Detach or delete a sub-space
In Sous-espaces, the ⋯ menu of a sub-space offers:
- "Détacher…": it becomes a standalone workspace that you own. It takes a copy of the contacts of the companies in its portfolio, with all its actions, deals and sequences. It will need its own subscription to Caryon Lead.
- "Supprimer…": its portfolio, actions, deals and sequences are deleted; the contacts stay in the shared file.
